What is the gospel, or good news, that Christians celebrate? That question is not only
pertinent today but has been for centuries. The book of Romans answers that question. To
that end, Paul, the author of Romans, expounded on the various characteristics and history
of God’s salvation to show the church the goodness of God in the gospel. When Martin
Luther translated Romans, it sparked the Reformation. What could happen today if we
really understood the gospel as Paul shows us in Romans?
