Derek serves as the Pastor of Connections & Student Ministry. He holds an M.Div from Liberty Theological Seminary. Derek has served in the local church starting ministries for the next generation for the last 13 years. As the Student Ministry Director, he spends his time on his passion: equipping and empowering the next generation to reach their God-given potential and to lead well where God has them. Derek enjoys hiking, camping, caffeine, tacos, and finding new favorite places to hang out in Boulder. Derek and his wife Sara have two children and live in North Boulder.
