Introducing The Well Online

THE STORY

I mentioned at the beginning of May that we’re going to be switching from The City to another Church Managment Software (ChMS) provider by July 1. This is because The City let us know that they will be ceasing sales, development, and support of The City in 2019. I’m glad to let you know that our new ChMS will be Church Community Builder (CCB) and will be called The Well Online. This platform is a very reputable one based in Colorado and is a great cultural fit for our ministry methods at The Well. Here’s the timeline for when The Well Online will launch.

THE TIMELINE

In June, we will be migrating data and getting the new online network setup for public use. We will be training staff and key leaders on the essential features of The Well Online. This process has already started.

In July, we will begin utilizing The Well Online with giving, groups, kids check-in, and hospitality. This will be the month we hope everyone will have their new accounts activated on The Well Online. Think of this month as a soft launch (so anticipate opportunities for improvement i.e. problems). 

In August, we will be closing out The City and finalizing any transitions to The Well Online. Our hope is that by our anniversary party on August 26, we will have finished using The City.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What this means for you: We will be working with you to get your account set up and get you in the right groups on The Well Online. We will also be working with you to get your giving transitioned over. Please be responsive and diligent as we invite you into this new iteration of The Well Online.
